2008 – 2009       General Manager of the 2009 Technical Communication Competition of the Montreal chapter of the Society for Technical Communication.

The General Manager of the Technical Communication Competition (1) Oversees all aspects of the competition, (2) Serve as liaison to the chapter administrative council, (3) Provide regular updates to the council, (4) Establish and monitor the competition’s budget and schedule, (5) Promote the competition within the local chapter, (6) Serve as liaison to the headquarter office and the international competition managers, (7) Create or revise local competition guidelines to reflect current developments, (8) Guide and assist committee managers, (9) Enrol managers for functions and together make preliminary decisions

2006 - 2007        Judge in the 2007 Technical Communication Competition of the Montreal chapter of the Society for Technical Communication

(1) evaluated technical communication entries, (2) provided feedback to the entrants on the quality of the entries , (3) participated in a consensus meeting with other judges to select the winning awards.

2006 - 2007        Consultant, Work and Learning Knowledge Centre
Short description of the role:
(1) recorded four session in the Canadian Society for Training and Development conference held in Toronto, Ontario, Canada from November 5 to 7, (2) analyzed the recoded information, and prepared four documents addressing “Promising Learning Practices” from the information recorded in the sessions.
