About me

Andrea Benedetti received her BSc (1994) in Mathematics & Computer Science.  She completed her MSc (1999) in Epidemiology at McGill University under the direction of Dr. Jean Paul Collet.    In 2004, Dr. Benedetti received her PhD, also from McGill University under the supervision of Michal Abrahamowicz.  From 2004-2005, Dr. Benedetti was a part-time postdoctoral fellow at the Institut Armand Frappier, where she studied issues related to the analysis of case-control studies and the effects of alcohol on lung and other cancers. In March 2006, Dr. Benedetti was jointly appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Medicine and of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Occupational Health at McGill University.

Dr. Benedetti is currently Associate Professor in the Departments of Medicine and of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Occupational Health at McGill University.
