Anna Maria Workshop IX is planned as a three-day event to be held in Holmes
Beach, located on beautiful Anna Maria Island, Florida.
The goal of this year's Workshop is to
assemble a group of leading experts in order to foster discussion on the current
state-of-the-art with regard to
non-traditional (sustainable) cements. We envision that the topics will include
(though not be limited to) such materials as low-lime cements, alkali activated
cements or sulfate activated cements and will address issues of economic
feasibility, ecological feasibility, market needs, transfer of know-how to
industry as well as standards and codes of practice.
