Anna Maria Workshop IX

Sustainable Cements: Challenges, Opportunities & Applications

November 11-14, 2008
Holmes Beach, Anna Maria Island, Florida, USA

Anna Maria Workshop IX is planned as a three-day event to be held in Holmes Beach, located on beautiful Anna Maria Island, Florida. The goal of this year's Workshop is to assemble a group of leading experts in order to foster discussion on the current state-of-the-art with regard to non-traditional (sustainable) cements. We envision that the topics will include (though not be limited to) such materials as low-lime cements, alkali activated cements or sulfate activated cements and will address issues of economic feasibility, ecological feasibility, market needs, transfer of know-how to industry as well as standards and codes of practice.
